You will be asked to sign a photography waiver during the booking process.

By signing the waiver you are confirming that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child named or if a grandparent have consent from the child's parents and consent to the following on behalf of the child:

Photography & Filming: I give permission for staff and authorised photographers to take photographs and/or video footage of the child during their visit to Santa’s Grotto. I acknowledge that ONE photo is included in your visit to Santa.

Use of Images: I consent to the use of those images and/or video in any media, including but not limited to printed materials, websites, social media, advertising and promotional materials produced by Newgate Centre, Abyte Solutions and its official partners. I understand that images may be used worldwide and without time limit unless I notify the organiser in writing.

Personal Data & Storage: I understand that the images and associated information (for example child’s first name and age) will be stored and processed in accordance with the organiser’s privacy policy for booking and promotional purposes.

No Payment: I agree that I will not receive any payment, royalties or other compensation for the use of images or footage.

Withdrawal: I understand that I may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting the box office at the contact details on my booking confirmation. Withdrawal will not affect any uses of images that have already taken place or have been distributed before the organiser received my request, but the organiser will reasonably endeavour to stop future uses.

Safety & Safeguarding: Images will not be used in a way that endangers the child. If you have specific safeguarding concerns or requirements (for example, do not display full name with image), please will note these below and contact the organiser before the visit.

Flash Lighting & Liability: Please note that flash lighting may be used during professional photo sessions. If your child has a history of photosensitivity, epilepsy or any medical condition that may be triggered by flashing lights, please inform us before the session and consider declining photography during your Santa visit. It is your duty to inform staff of any medical issues flashing lights may trigger and we expect you to confirm this to Santa's assistant elf (photographer) when you enter the grotto to ensure that they are aware.

By consenting to photography you acknowledge that you have been advised that flash lighting may be used and you accept that Newgate Centre, Abyte Solutions and its staff will not be liable for any adverse reaction, injury or loss resulting from the use of flash lighting, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
